Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) Storage Tank
The nitrous oxide (N₂O) storage tank falls under the category of cryogenic storage tanks. It mainly consists of cryogenic vessel, auxiliary pipelines and control instruments.
Classification of LNG storage tanks by capacity: ‑ Small‑size LNG storage tank: 5‑50m³, widely used for civil gas vaporization stations, LNG vehicle refueling stations, etc. ‑ Medium‑size LNG storage tank: 50‑100m³, applied for satellite liquefaction units and industrial gas vaporization stations.
The pipelines of N₂O storage tank are normally made of austenitic stainless steel, which delivers outstanding low‑temperature performance. Vacuum powder insulation technology is adopted for thermal insulation. The inner vessel and pipelines are austenitic stainless steel, while the outer shell is made of pressure‑vessel carbon steel plate Q345R.
Compact footprint and compact structure, supporting centralized control for easy operation and maintenance. It is a refillable cryogenic insulated pressure vessel with high requirements for insulation and sealing performance. The tank features good gas‑tightness, low thermal conductivity, superior insulation performance, low evaporation loss and long service life. The double‑layer vacuum powder insulation structure effectively reduces heat transfer.
Each tank undergoes strict inspections before delivery to guarantee quality:
Dual‑valve structure for liquid inlet & outlet facilitates maintenance. Multiple safety barrier components ensure safe operation. Three‑way valve design prevents accidental shutdown of the unit and enables convenient inspection and replacement of accessories.
