Product Overview
The filter is an excellent device for pipeline medium transportation. It is generally installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valves, relief valves, fixed‑water‑level valves and other equipment. It consists of shell, stainless‑steel filter screen, blow‑down unit, transmission device and electric control assembly. When raw water flows through the filter cartridge, impurities are trapped. For cleaning, the removable filter cartridge can be taken out, treated and reinstalled, bringing easy operation and maintenance.
A simple filter divides the vessel into upper and lower chambers by filter medium. Suspension is fed into the upper chamber. Under pressure, liquid passes through the medium into the lower chamber as filtrate, while solid particles are retained on the medium surface to form filter residue (filter cake). As filtration proceeds, the residue layer builds up, increasing flow resistance and reducing filtration rate. When the chamber is full of residue or flow rate drops sharply, filtration is stopped. Residue is removed and filter medium is regenerated to complete one filtration cycle.
